Vineis

Vineis, the historic white wine of the Rocca Bernarda estate, owes its name to a plaque on the walls of the Rocca bearing the inscription “VINEIS AVITIS REST ET AUCTIS”, a reminder that vines were already present in this location as far back as 1567. This wine is made from Friulano grapes from a single vineyard with an average age of 100 years, produced only in the best vintages. It aims to represent what, for us, is the highest expression of the most historic native white grape variety of the Colli Orientali del Friuli region.
