Rinella
The last sheltered bay before Malta’s open sea. Its stones witnessed the siege of 1565 and centuries of the Knights’ history. Our Grechetto comes from Castello di Magione. Fresh, fragrant, with good complexity.
Rinella Bay is a small cove set within Malta’s Grand Harbour, the last refuge of safe water before the open sea. Enclosed between the rocks of Kalkara and the walls of Birgu, it witnessed the decisive moments in the Order’s history: the Ottoman siege of 1565, the building of the fortresses, more than two centuries of life between faith and courage.
The Grechetto that bears its name comes from Castello di Magione, in Umbria. Fresh, fragrant, with good complexity.
In production since 2008. Around 50,000 bottles.
