Cercamare
Aboard the galleys of the Order of Malta, the cercamare was in charge of artillery and ammunition. A position of responsibility, decisive in the chaos of battle. Our Ribolla Gialla is a native Friulian grape grown at Rocca Bernarda since 1559.
The cercamare was one of the officers aboard the galleys of the Order of Malta. Reporting to the captain, he gave orders to the artillery and oversaw the distribution of ammunition, managing a crew of hundreds of men together with the senior Knights.
A position of responsibility, decisive in the heat of battle, when control had to be kept. The Ribolla Gialla that bears his name is a native Friulian grape variety grown at Rocca Bernarda since 1559.
A fruity, fragrant white, dry, with a pleasant softness. Soft pressing, fermentation and ageing in temperature-controlled stainless steel.
